The Swan Parade<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Every April, the town of Stratford, Ontario fills with families, enthusiasts, and the curious to watch the swans march from their winter quarters to Lake Victoria on the Avon River, where they will live during the warmer months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The town of Stratford inspires both creative innovators and eager audiences that come to experience North America’s largest regional theatre, the Stratford Festival, or the myriad of music performances and artistic events that are hosted here. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Swan Parade Media brings that creative spirit to the film and television industry, whether through supporting regional filmmakers, or consulting with world-class media companies.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Prior to launching Swan Parade, Andrew was a distribution executive at the Walt Disney Company. As the Director of Total Quality Management, he oversaw the continuous improvement program that brought Disney+<\/a> to life around the globe. New workflows for streaming originals required scaling an “end to end” vendor program for mastering, localization and servicing. Other projects include launching UHD Blu-ray<\/a> with HDR, and building a globally connected system of performance metrics with teams in the US, UK, Latin America, Singapore and Japan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prior to Disney, Andrew oversaw the operations of a boutique post production facility, Local Hero<\/a>, that forged new workflows and high-quality finishing for feature films. Clients include Lionsgate, Universal, Gold Circle and other independents. Highlights include Pitch Perfect <\/em>(Jason Moore), Search Party <\/em>(Scot Armstrong), Captain Fantastic <\/em>(Matt Ross), LBJ <\/em>(Rob Reiner), Dope <\/em>(Rick Famuyiwa), 20th Century Women <\/em>(Mike Mills), Ride <\/em>(Helen Hunt), Curse of Chucky <\/em>(Don Mancini), Haunting in Connecticut 2 <\/em>(Tom Elkins).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Independent projects include writing and directing a full-cast radio play podcast of G.K. Chesterton’s The Man Who Was Thursday<\/a><\/em>, associate producer on the feature Growing Out<\/a><\/em>, and directing short films during the digital video revolution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Earlier career includes Multimedia Producer for the Los Angeles Times Media Group<\/a>, and Executive Assistant roles in feature film development with Mandate Pictures<\/a> (Joe Drake) with Stranger than Fiction, Harold & Kumar Go To Whitecastle, The Grudge<\/em>, Phoenix Pictures<\/a> (Mike Medavoy) with Holes, The Outsider, Basic<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a community arts advocate, Andrew founded the Downey Arts Coalition<\/a> in Southern California, then after the move to Stratford joined the board of INNERchamber<\/a> to support local music, and the Southwestern Ontario Film Alliance<\/a>, advocating for the grown of film production in the region.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
